Charles Richard Gann, who resided near Paris, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born December 18, 1955 in Levelland, Texas to the late Marion Gilbert "Buck" Gann and Frances Mae "Tommy" (Clark) Gann. He was 60 years old. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Billie Ruth McCloud and Mary Ham; one brother, Eddie Gann.

Charles was a retired machinist at Kopco, Inc. in Fort Smith for 30 years, and he was of the Baptist faith.

Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, November 5th, at McVay Cemetery, located in Carbon City, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Daniel Young and Mr. Paul Gann.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Debra (Young) Gann; one daughter, Shannon Tipton and husband Tommy of Bluejacket, Oklahoma; three sons, Michael Gann and wife Katie of Pryor, Oklahoma, Michael Stephens of Paris and Phillip Gann of Paris; four sisters, Jean Henson of Salina, Oklahoma, Connie Ruthardt of Jerman, Texas, Wanda Kelley of Fort Worth, Texas, and Delores Pevehouse; one brother, Paul Gann of Seminole, Texas; (13) grandchildren and (2) great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Vivian Abel, Joe Abel, Jim Abel, David Shores, Logan Gann, and James Walters.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chester Koprovick, Jack Vincent, and employees of Kopco, Inc.

Family will visit with friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Charleston on Saturday before leaving for the 3:30 p.m. graveside service.
