*When Stephen A Douglas Garner was born on March 11, 1860, in Coldwater, Mississippi, his father, Wiley, was 53 and his mother, Sarah, was 36. He married Anna Wallis on September 4, 1902. They had one child during their marriage. He died on January 25, 1926, in Rose Bud, Arkansas, at the age of 65, and was buried in Joy, Arkansas.
