Linda Telano Bussey, 68, of El Dorado, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014. She was born June 15, 1946 to Casey and Maxine Telano.

A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Linda was also a caring, compassionate and skilled nurse who genuinely cared for her patients and their families. Linda was a registered nurse who had been nursing for 50 years. She retired from her position as the Director of Nursing for Heritage Manor Nursing Center in Haynesville, Louisiana in 2010.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Alvin Telano.

Linda is survived by her husband of 48 years, Dennis Bussey; daughter, Vicky Bussey Cooper; son, Chuck Bussey; sisters, Janette Cramer and Kathy Mitcham; brothers, Willie Telano and Carl Telano; granddaughters, Kirstin Bussey, Sophie Lowery and Madison Bussey; grandsons, Brayden Bussey and Jake Cooper; mother-in-law, Margaret Bussey; brother-in-law, Darryl Bussey and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be at Perry's Funeral Chapels from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturday, July 12, 2014. Graveside service will be at Parker's Chapel Cemetery Sunday July 13, 2014, at 2:00 pm with Bro. Larry Hudson officiating under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
