PARIS John Ray Dendy, 92, of Paris died Thursday, Sept. 30, 2004, in Paris. He worked for the Civil Service and was a sheet metal worker and an Army veteran of World War II. Graveside service and burial will be 2 p.m. Monday at McVay Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris. He is survived by his wife, Gail; a daughter, Linda Owens of Iowa; two stepdaughters, Nancy Lucas of Paris and Catherine Harger of Clarksville; a son, Kenneth Dendy of California; two brothers, Herbert Dendy of Antioch, Calif., and Sammy Dendy of California; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Lila Gail Dendy, 90, a resident of Paris, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Greenhurst Nursing Center in Charleston.
She was born September 6, 1928, in Commonwealths, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph and Beatrice (Walker) Wingrove. Lila spent her working years as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Paris United Pentecostal Church.
In addition to her parents Lila was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Hall and a son, Eugene Cummings.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Lucas and her close friend, Harry Chronister of Paris; six grandchildren, Michelle Lucas, Steve Lucas, Robbie Hall, Christina Hall, Lori Hall and Charles Hall and numerous great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at McVay Cemetery near Paris with the Rev. Brad Stovall officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
