Paul D. Smith, age 93 of Searcy, died Wednesday, February 15, 2006. He was born on August 16, 1912 and a member of Pine View Church of Christ. He is survived by daughters, Vada and husband A. C. Gibbons, Brenda and husband Huey Hixson; son Paul Lynn and wife Diana Smith, all of Searcy; two brothers, Harlon Smith, Dale Smith, one sister, Glenna Lytal, all of Searcy; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Estha Smith; father, Hester Smith; mother, Ola Walls Smith; and brother, Printice ‘Duke' Smith. The visitation is scheduled for Friday, February 17, 2006 from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. and the funeral service will be immediately following the visitation at 2:00 p.m. at the Pine View Church of Christ. Interment will be at Taylor Cemetery in Searcy.
