*Obituary

Jeremy Taylor Walls, age 30, of Duluth, Georgia, died Monday, December 4th. Jeremy had suffered with severe asthma since childhood, and died of a severe asthma attack,
Jeremy was born on August 25th, 1987, in DeKalb County, Georgia. He was the son of Dr. Kevin W. Walls of Duluth, Georgia, and the late Diane Terpening Trum. Jeremy was always full of surprises, but his birth was the best of all. The obstetrician gave a due date of October 1st, and told his parents to expect a girl.
Jeremy attended Briar Lake Elementary School in Decatur, Georgia, and Hull Middle and Duluth High Schools in Duluth, Georgia. He studied Information Technology at Gwinnett Technology College in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Most recently, Jeremy was Manager of Amway in Norcross, Georgia. Prior to that he was an Information Technologist for Blue Ribbon Foods in Chamblee, Georgia, and Advance Micro Systems in Lawrenceville. He always enjoyed fixing things, especially computers.
Jeremy became an avid golfer at the age of twelve, when he and his dad took up golf. For years he was obsessed with practicing his swing, and he became a great golfer.
Jeremy loved to travel, and he and his dad went to Europe four times and visited most of the highlights of Europe together, creating wonderful memories. One trip included a two day visit to Morocco, Africa. Their travels also included Yellowstone National Park, Washington, D. C. and New York City. Some of Jeremy’s most special memories of his youth were the many summers that he and his sister, Jill, spent in Searcy with their Grandma Walls, Aunt Kathy, and cousins Brooke and Clay camping at Greers Ferry Lake.
Jeremy never met a stranger, and was always willing to help others. He thought of every person as another human deserving of kindness and respect. He loved animals, especially his childhood dog, Beethoven. This well-spoken young man will always be remembered for his kindness to others, his winning smile, and his unfulfilled dreams.
Jeremy is survived by his son, Haylan Russel Stallins of Lilburn, Georgia; his father, Dr. Kevin W. Walls of Duluth, Georgia; his sister, Jill Robertson of Fayette County, Georgia; his paternal grandparents, Wayne and Helen (Taylor) Walls of Searcy; his maternal grandparents, Robert and Barbara (Cole) Terpening of Fayette County, Georgia; his paternal aunt, Kathy Walls Hayes (Jim) of Searcy; nephews Austin, Nathan, and Riordan Robertson of Fayette County, Georgia; and cousins Brooke Hayes Condolora of Fayetteville,
Arkansas, and Clay Hayes of Searcy, Arkansas. Jeremy was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Terpening Trum.
Visitation in Duluth will be on Tuesday, December 12th from 4-6 pm at Bill Head Funeral Home. Visitation in Searcy will be at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Friday, December 15th, from 5-7pm. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 16th, in Taylor Cemetery on his grandparent’s farm.
