BENTONVILLE — Joyce Marie Hastings-Loftis, age 77, of Bentonville, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021. She was a student at Wichita HS North in Wichita, Kan., and received her AS Degree from NWACC. She was a member of the Bentonville Seventh Day Adventist Church. Joyce worked at CTS Corporation in Bentonville, as Office Manager and Administrative Assistant to the General Manager. She worked in the legal field prior to retirement in 2005. She is preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Vesta Helm; two husbands, Jack Hastings and Frank Loftis; her daughter, Shelly Smith-Chandler; two sisters, Rita Knight and Norma Johnson; and a brother, Robert Helm. She is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Bishop (Brad) of Bentonville; and two sons, David Hastings (Kim) of Bentonville, and John Hastings (Misty) of O'Fallon, Illinois. Additionally, she is survived by 15 grandchildren, including her eldest grandchild, David Smith, who was instrumental in her care following her diagnosis with cancer. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on August 26, 2021, at 10 a.m. at the Cave Springs Cemetery in Cave Springs, where she will be laid to rest beside her best friend, beloved husband, and father of her four children, Jack.
