Luevada Tubbs was born on February 8, 1947, in El Dorado, AR, to the late Wilbert Tubbs, Sr, and Annie Bell Davis Tubbs.
A Time To Build
Luevada retired from Con Agra after being employed for over 35 years. Luevada accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, fishing, cooking, and watching the Young and Restless Soap Opera faithfully. Most of all she loved watching and raising her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Time To Mourn
Luevada is preceded in death by her parents Wilbert and Annie Tubbs, son: Howard Buggs, and brother, Kennedy Shay, and Timothy Tubbs, also her beloved friend: Joe (Rawhide) Stanley.
A Time to Cherish
Left to cherish her memories one daughter Virginia Buggs Penister (Michael Brown) of El Dorado, AR, Five brothers: Wilbert Tubbs, Jr. (Dianne), Levell Tubbs ( Regina), Lonnie Tubbs, Dennis Tubbs, and Roger Tubbs (Laura) all of El Dorado, AR., Four sisters: Essie B. Phillips, Annie White, Essie Marie Tubbs, and Sarah Reed (Eugene) all of El Dorado, AR., grandchildren: Nicki, Ashley, Ladeddrick (Lorrice), Christopher, Da Vonte, and Ayana, great-grandchildren, Bra’Khai, Bra’Kell, Bra’Khlia, Braylin, Zalin, Neveah, Laniya, JaKayla, and a God Son: Luther Phillips. And a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Time to Die
On August 22, 2020, I would like to thank Velicia (Tubbs) James for coaching Ashley, Nicki, and Trey George for the resuscitating of my mom before she was airlifted to Baptist Health Hospital in Little Rock, AR. My mom died on November 6, 2020, at the age of 73 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas.
