*When Jonathan Wesley Rogers was born on September 10, 1839, in Tennessee, his father, George, was 39 and his mother, Sarah, was 36. He married Mary Catherine Jackson in 1850. They had three children in 10 years. He died on August 28, 1887, at the age of 47, and was buried in White, Arkansas.
