*When Jacob Jefferson Saye was born on February 1, 1830, in Gainesville, Georgia, his father, Ephrim, was 20 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 19. He married ELIZABETH JANE DURHAM on November 6, 1849, in his hometown. They had 13 children in 25 years. He died on December 13, 1874, at the age of 44.
