*When Andrew Jackson Hale was born on October 11, 1853, in DeSoto, Mississippi, his father, Francis, was 25 and his mother, Louisa, was 19. He married Henrietta Saye on March 23, 1884, in McRae, Arkansas. They had seven children in 11 years. He died on November 12, 1939, at the age of 86, and was buried in White, Arkansas.
