James R. (Bob) Dockery, 87, of Fayetteville died today in a Fayetteville hospital. Born June 10, 1894 at Winslow, he was the son of James L. and Mary Elizabeth Skelton Dockery. He was a retired electrician with the Sante Fe railroad, a veteran of World War I, a charter member of the V.F.W. and a member of the Greenland Church of Christ. He moved to this area from San Bernardino, Calif. in 1979.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Minnie Parrish Dockery of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Kathleen Rice of West Fork and Mrs. Betty Jean Heimer of Minneapolis, Minn.; a sister, Mrs. Essie McCracken of Fayetteville and four grandchildren.
Funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the West Fork Church of Christ, with burial in the Brentwood cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
