Grover Ardell Goad, 70, of Winslow died Jan. 23, 1991, at Fayetteville City Hospital. He was born Jan. 25, 1920, at Tuttle, Okla., the son of John and Bessie Terry Phillips Goad. He was an equipment operator for Arkla Gas Co.

Survivors include his wife, Naomi Goad of the home; two sons, Joe Goad of San Antonio, Texas, and John Goad of Lincoln; one daughter, Ann Logue of Farmington; one stepson, Charles Marks of Fayetteville; one stepdaughter, Charlene Aldrich of Fayetteville; one half-sister, Ruth Turner of Missouri.

Graveside services were Friday, Jan. 25 at Brentwood Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Potts and the Rev. Jerry Bromley officiating. Arrangements were by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale.
