BELLA VISTA — Zenith Prestige of Bella Vista, Ark., was born on Feb. 2, 1928, in Faxon, Okla., and died on July 3, 2011, after an extended illness.
He attended grade school in Faxon and moved to Lawton, Okla., where he graduated from Lawton High School and attended Cameron College where he was a member of the Cameron basketball team. He moved to Fresno, Calif., after college where be was employed by the Fresno National Bank. He returned to Oklahoma and was self-employed with ownership of Dawn Music and Vending Company.
He married Betty Peden and that union produced four daughters.
He served as past president of the Lawton Kiwanis Club, a member of the Lawton Country Club and an avid golfer.
He is survived by his wife, Ann of the home; three daughters, LaDawnna Prestage of Hot Springs, Ark., Linda Goodner of Mena, Ark., and Karen Prestage of Lawton, Okla.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a special cousin, Zenith Briggs and wife Liz of Cobb, Calif.; sister-in-law, Doris Prestage of Lawton, Okla.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Unroe of Las Vegas, N.M.; his parents; four brothers and one sister.
Donations in memory of Zenith can be made to Circle of Life Hospice House.
