A Graveside Service for Theodore E. "Ted" Mech of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with the Alley-White American Legion post #52 honor guard providing military honors.

Ted passed away March 30, 2012, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 84. He was born November 2, 1927, in Chicago, IL, the son of Joseph and Cecelia Bendyk Mech. He married Linda McPherson on September 22, 1978, at Woodstock, IL and worked as a inventory control clerk for Morton International. Ted lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1990 moving from Woodstock, IL. He was a member of Alley-White American Legion post 52 and a former member of the Honor Guard.

Ted is survived by his three sons; Steven (Annie) Mech of Gurnee, IL, Douglas (Mary) Mech of Baldwin, MO, Ted (Carol) Mech JR of Mesa, AZ; one daughter; Christine (Kevin) Kwiatkowski of Mundelein, IL; and one brother; Raymond (Mary) Mech of Parkridge, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and 2 brothers.

Memorials may be made to American Legion Honor Guard.

Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
