Ernest Abner Hobbs, 82, former mayor of Winslow, died this morning in a local hospital. He was born July 3, 1885 in Schaberg, the son of William and Elizabeth Hesson Hobbs, and was a retired groceryman, a retired employee of the Frisco railroad and member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Roy Khilling of San Diego., Calif., Mrs. Helen Yadon of Fort Smith, Mrs. Kenneth Bradley of Winslow and Mrs. Raymond Williams of Shreveport, La.; three brothers, Harvey of Santa Paula, Calif., Lawrence and Alva both of Muskogee, Okla. and two sisters, Mrs. Grace Weiberg of Fort Smith. Mrs. Oma Terry of Wichita, Kan.

Arrangements will be announced by Nelson's Funeral Home.
