Clyde Bennett Houghland, 64, of Route 1, Winslow, died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 28, 1903 at Thomas, Okla. the son of Charles and Fronia Houghland and was a member of the Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Lillie Houghland of the home; one son, Charles C. of Brentwood; two daughters, Mrs. Pat Wiggins of Brentwood and Mrs. Aneata Chandler of Topeka, Kan.; two half-brothers, Harold Davis of Hammond, Okla. and Clarence Davis of Taylor, Ariz.; seven half-sisters, Mrs. Birdie Jones of Sorroeo, N.Mex., Mrs. Earnie Laird, Mrs. Beulah Watkins and Mrs. Rena Stringfellow, all of Bakersfield, Calif., Mrs. Estie Hammons of Hammond, Okla., Mrs. Lula McDonald of San Leandro, Calif. and Mrs. Carey Alberts of Washington, D.C.: six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Chapel of Nelson's Funeral Home with burial in Brentwood Cemetery.

TULSA, Okla. — Lillie B. Houghland Blount, 94, of Tulsa died Aug. 16, 2000, at Tulsa.
She was born April 14, 1906, in Hammon, (Indian Territory) Okla. She was a homemaker and a member of Allen Free Will Baptist Church in Sapulpa, Okla.
Survivors include one son, Charles Houghland of Springdale; one daughter, Pat Wiggins of Tulsa; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one brother, John Boulware of Atlanta, Ga.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville. Burial will be in Brentwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. until service time Saturday at Moore's.
