*When Willie James Chatman was born on June 3, 1942, in Stone, Arkansas, his father, Council, was 39 and his mother, Jewel, was 23. He married Velma Jean Teague on April 24, 1962, in Onia, Arkansas. He died on October 15, 1991, at the age of 49, and was buried in Garner, Arkansas.
