*When Reda Paulette Hughes was born on September 13, 1951, in Searcy, Arkansas, her father, Ulysses, was 28, and her mother, Ruby, was 28. She married Roger Dale Southerland in August 1969 in Marshall, Alabama. She died on June 15, 1994, in Springdale, Arkansas, at the age of 42, and was buried in Letona, Arkansas.
