Charlotte Elizabeth Filigenzi, 87 of Fordyce, died Sunday, January 3, 2010 in Wagnon Place Nursing Home in Warren, AR. Born December 6, 1922 in New Castle, PA, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Rose Gaspare of New Castle. She was married to Samuel A. Filigenzi, who died November 1990, in Las Vegas, NV where he and his family lived since August 1955. She left Las Vegas to come and live with her daughter and son-in-law in Fordyce on September 9, 2001. She loved her Lord and her family and attended First Baptist Church of Fordyce. She loved to make people laugh and told jokes all the time. Her favorite bible verse was John 14:1-3. Survivors include three daughters, Charlene Talley, wife of Jim Talley of Fordyce, AR, Leanne Martin, wife of David Martin of Colonial Beach, VA, Patricia Madnick, wife of the late Jim Madnick of Spokane, WA; and two sons, Samuel G. Filigenzi and wife Robin and Ralph J. Filigenzi and wife Tracy, both of Las Vegas, NV; ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 PM at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel in Fordyce with Bro. Stacy Reed officiating. Burial will be at Hebron Cemetery in Kingsland, AR.
