Earl Land, 64, of 604 Whitham, died Sunday at his home. Born April 5, 1904 in Winslow, the son of Walter and Olive Grubb Land, he was a grocer for 48 years and was a Methodist.

Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Virginia Hanna Land of the home; two sons, Rodney of Fayetteville and Tommy of Gravette; one daughter, Mrs. Gregory Stephens of Tulsa; three sisters, Mrs. Ernest Standley, Mrs. Blonnie Rose Henbest, both of Fayetteville and Miss Geneva Land of Tulsa; his mother of Fayetteville and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Moore's Chapel with burial in Brentwood Cemetery.

Virginia Land, 84, of Fayetteville died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 1990, in a local hospital. Born April 18, 1905, at Beebe, the daughter of Otis B. and Myrtle B. McIntosh Hanna, she was a homemaker and a member of Central United Methodist Church. She moved to this area in 1926. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Land, in 1967.

Survivors are two sons, Rodney Land of Fayetteville and Tommy Land of Gravette; a daughter, Earlene Stephens of Lindale, Texas; a sister, Margaret Roberts of Dallas, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m., Friday, at Moore's Chapel with burial in Brentwood Cemetery.
