Dr. A.H. Swain, 94 of Ringgold, Georgia passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2013 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

He was born on May 9, 1919 in Booneville, Arkansas to his parents G.E. and Pearl Charline (McCaslin) Swain. He was a retired Chiropractor and served in Belgium during WWII.

Dr. Swain, Chiropractic Physician, was a graduate of Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, Iowa. He practiced in El Dorado, Arkansas for about forty years and completed post graduate courses in radiology, interpretation, nutritional and blood chemistry analysis. He was proficient in Gonstead and Grostic techinique. Swain served as president and vice-president of the Arkansas Chiropractic Association and served on the board of examiners for twelve years. He was voted Chiropractor of the Year in 1968.
He is preceded in death by his parents, G.E. and Pearl Swain; wife, Dorothy Louise Swain; son Barry Swain; sisters, Mary Sue Price and Dorothy Fargo; brother, G.E. Swain Jr. and half brother William Swain.

He is survived by his sister, Helen Cobler of Malvern, Arkansas; half sister, Judy Gibson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; half brother, J.W. Womack of Tulsa, Oklahoma; granddaughters, Raquel Stringfellow of Sheridan, Arkansas and Taylor Swain of Pontotoc, Mississippi; grandsons, Andrew Swain of Snow Lake Mississippi and Alexander Swain of Snow Lake, Mississippi; daughter in law, Ginger Swain Bright of Snow Lake, Mississippi and Mickey of Ringgold, Georgia.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m., on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris will burial in Oakwood Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Drew Swain, Alex Swain, Gary Cobler, JD Mills, and Danny Bright.
