George W. Mills, 93, lifelong resident of Washington County, died Monday at 10 a.m., at his home near Wyola, Ark. He was born December 23, 1858, near Winslow, the son of John R. and Katherine Painter Mills. His wife, the former Susan Kelly, died in 1943.
He is survived by five sons, James of Lawrence, Kan., Lee of Fullerton, Calif., Claude of Carthage, Mo., Cliff of Wyola, and C.H. of Muskogee, Okla., and a daughter, Mrs. Ada Parker, of Pryor, Okla.
Funeral service was to be held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Brentwood Community Church by George Dockery, minister. Burial was to be in Brentwood cemetery under the direction of the Watson Mortuary.

Mrs. Susan C. Mills, 83, died yesterday morning at the home of her son, James S. Mills, in Lawrence, Kan. She was a resident of Winslow. Survivors are her husband, George W. Mills of Winslow; six children, James Mills, Lee Mills of Winslow, C.W. Mills of Carthage, Mo., Mrs. Ada Parker of Mazie, Okla., Columbus Mills of Stilwell, Okla., C.L. Mills of Winslow; two sisters, Mrs. Viola Combs of Fayetteville and Mrs. Nora Brashears of Stilwell, Okla.; and one brother, Everett Kelley of Mazie, Okla.
Tentative arrangements are for services at Brentwood Thursday afternoon under direction of the Watson mortuary.
