*When Harriett Ellen "Hattie" Hicks and her twin sister Hattie were born on December 5, 1878, in Soldiers Grove, Wisconsin, their father, Martin, was 27 and their mother, Lillie, was 18. She married Andrew Franklin "Frank" Edwards on November 4, 1896, in Judsonia, Arkansas. They had 14 children in 23 years. She died on May 13, 1955, in Judsonia, Arkansas, at the age of 76, and was buried in Searcy, Arkansas.
