September 1, 1947 - December 4, 2017
Myra Anne Langston, age 70, of Hot Springs, went to be with the Lord Monday, December 4, 2017. She was born on September 1, 1947 in Hot Springs, the daughter of Jeff Allen and Marnette Evans Allen. She was preceded in death by her parents; three aunts; and two uncles. Myra lived in Hot Springs for most of her life. In 2016, she retired from Community Counseling Services after more than 20 years of service. She was a member of Sunshine Church of the Nazarene and served as a childrens Sunday school teacher. Myra loved God and she loved her family and friends very much. She had a giving and caring spirit, always ready to help those in need. She enjoyed the companionship of her dogs, Chance and Precious. She also loved spending time with her family, especially in the last few years her great-grandson, Mason, who brought her so much joy, as did all of her family, those near and far away. Myra is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Missy Isom of Hot Springs; two grandchildren, Nikki Stoddard and her husband, Matt and Taylor Isom; her great-grandson, Mason Stoddard, all of Hot Springs; her sister, Linda Hibbs of Hot Springs; two nephews, Trey Hibbs and his wife, Schasta Hibbs of Hot Springs and Toby Hibbs and his wife, Angie Hibbs of Conway; one niece, Holly Hibbs of Hot Springs; three aunts and two uncles, J.B. and Annette Evans and Wanda and Brent Page, all of Hot Springs and Doris Pine of Little Rock; numerous cousins and a host of wonderful friends. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 9, 2017, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs with Bro. J.B. Evans and Bro. Phil Hull officiating. Interment will be in the Tranquil Cemetery in Hot Springs. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday evening. Pallbearers will be Jeff Evans, Trey Hibbs, Toby Hibbs, Taylor Isom, Aubrey Hibbs and Matthew Novak. Honorary pallbearers will be Joan Stout, Jan Moore, Mary Lacaze, Judy Lieblong and the members of Sunshine Church of the Nazarene. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
