This cemetery is located across Highway 323 from the New Hope Methodist Church about five miles south of historic West Point. It is in Section 12, Township 6 North, Range 6 West. The original report was prepared by Richard E. McAllister of the White County Historical Society in April 2000. He reported the cemetery was well-kept but parking was a problem because the cemetery is "next to the road and only has a narrow walkway across the ditch; it is risky to park on the road and look; the church is across on the other side and down the road a little." Additional information was provided by WCHS member Leroy Blair who visited the cemetery October 19, 2000. He found two unmarked graves plus four pipes driven into the ground which may also be graves.

This cemetery is not to be confused with the New Hope Cemetery north of Searcy.
