William Roy “Pat” Sherrill, 73, “Bepa” of Hot Springs passed away Friday August 10, 2012. He was born October 29, 1938 to the late Rachel Short Sherrill and Roy Sherrill in Hot Springs.
Mr. Sherrill was a retired Tile Contractor and self-employed food concessionaire; a member of River of Life Church of God and a United States Navy Veteran. He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers, William and Pete, one sister, Lillian and one grandson, Michael Baugh and one brother-in-law, Darrell Davasher.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Margaret Sherrill; one son, Pat Sherrill; four daughters, Angy Campbell, April Foster, Allison Brown and husband David, Jean Moulton ; five sisters, Wendy Sherrill, Judith Sherrill, Marty Davasher, Jackie Bull and Susan Sherrill; he was known by “Bepa” to his thirteen grandchildren, Anna K. Mitchell, Lindsay Katilius and husband Brian, Rebekah Baugh, Codey Foster, Katy Foster, Grace Anne Brown, Haley Sherrill, Morgan Reece, Will Brown, Nicholas Reece Megan Moulton and Emily Moulton and three great grandchildren, Gunnar, Ethan and Tucker Mitchell; sister-in-law Merrilyn Mann; brother-in-law Pete Smith and wife Lynne and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be Monday at 11:00 A.M. at River of Life Church with Pastor Ben Wiles officiating.
Mr. Sherrill left behind a legacy of stubbornness, kindness and a love for Jesus Christ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to better the life of a child and pay forward the legacy of kindness he has left behind.
