Jack Overstreet, 87, of Georgetown went to be with the Lord, Friday, July 23rd at his home surrounded by his loving family. Jack was born August 13, 1933, in Sidon, Arkansas to the late James and Norah (Moats) Overstreet.

Jack was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Georgetown. He served as Deacon and had served as Pastor. He loved working in the church, cooking for the church gatherings. He also loved hunting, fishing, and could grow the best watermelons. Jack was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend who will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 67 years, Jerlean (Ditto) Overstreet; one daughter, Katy Burroughs (Jim) of Beebe; three grandchildren, Justin W. Overstreet of Georgetown, Dawne Lacewell (Seth) of Vilonia, and JJ Burroughs of Green Forrest, Arkansas; four great grandchildren; and one sister, Polly Berhens of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by one son, Michael W. Overstreet.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 29th from 10:00-11:00 AM, at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will start at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 29th in the Searcy McEuen Chapel with Pastor Kenneth Ripper officiating.
All Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
