Donald Wayne Hill Sr., 68, of Paris, Arkansas died Friday, December 18, 2009 in a local nursing home after a nineteen year battle with Parkinsons Disease.
He was born February 24, 1941 in Subiaco, Arkansas to Truman and Edna (White) Hill.
Donald retired after 30 years with Cloyes Gear and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Paris. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Angelo Hill and sister, Velma Naomi Hampton.
He is survived by his wife of 49 ½ years, Joan Freeman Hill; daughter, Judy Fisher and husband, Jimmy of Fort Smith; son, Wayne Hill and wife, Robin, of Paris; grandson, Randy Pfeiffer and step-grandchildren, Lance Owen and Lacee Owen, all of Paris; brothers, Wendell Hill of Keller, TX, Glendell Hill of Saginaw, TX and Raymond Hill of Santo, TX.
Graveside service were at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. J. H. Carter officiating.
