Donna L. Garren, 88 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2013 in Charleston. She was born on May 1, 1925 in Battle Creek, Michigan to her parents, Jefferson D. and Hazel M. (McComb) Bishop. She worked as a LPN at Booneville Hospital and Greenhurst Nursing Home and was an ordained minister and co-owner of Paris Exxon and Taxi. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary, Order of the Eastern Star, Veterans of Foreign Affairs and Disabled American Veterans.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jefferson and Hazel Bishop; husband Dwight Garren Sr.; son, Dwight Garren Jr.; daughters, Nora Hamilton and Carol Ann Garren and two sisters.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary Spessard and husband Rickey of Ozark and Susan Smith of Branch; sons, Richard Garren of Town Creek, Alabama, Jeff Garren and wife Karen of Knoxville, Arkansas, Marvin Garren and wife Debbie of New Blaine, Arkansas and Micah Bancroft of Athens, Alabama; eighteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, many great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and close friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris officiated by Rev. Bobby J. Lloyd. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters.
