Reginald Newell Lowder, who resided in Paris, passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, in Paris.
He was born Feb. 15, 1925, in Magazine to the late Claude Lowder and Enoch Vaught Lowder.
He was 87 years old.
Reginald was a retired fireman at Fort Chaffee and an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was an avid quail hunter and a member of First United Methodist Church in Paris.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. today at Oakwood Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris. Officiating the service will be Jimmie Dale Ames.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jacqueline (Albright) Lowder; two sons, Patrick Lowder and wife Kay of Paris and Michael Lowder of Paris; a daughter, Melissa Woods and husband Jeffrey of Paris; a sister, Mary Richards of Paris; three grandsons, Nicholas Lowder, Justin Lowder and Corby Rogers; and three great-granddaughters, Megan Lowder, Cydney Lowder, and Chrissa Woods
