FAYETTEVILLE - Marvin Bruce Osburn, 73, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020, in Heroes Haven at the Veterans Hospital in Fayetteville, Ark. He was born May 25, 1946, in Fayetteville. He was the son of Marvin Eugene Osburn and Jesse Mildred Shackelford.

A lifelong resident of Fayetteville, he served honorably in the U.S. Army. For 40 years he has owned Osburn Motor Company along with his son. He enjoyed going to classic car shows. Bruce also enjoyed his family and grandchildren being involved in all of their activities as they have grown. Bruce hosted family gatherings every holiday to include all nieces, nephews and siblings.

He is survived by a son, Gary Osburn and wife, Jennifer of Rogers; three granddaughters, Alexis, Jessica and Emilie; one grandson, Aden; two siblings, Arlene Bottoms and Doris Undernehr; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Purser.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at Beard's Chapel.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at Beard's Chapel with Pastor Brian Disney officiating. Interment will follow in Brentwood Cemetery, Brentwood Community, Ark.
