Mrs. C.F. Pennington, 83, died at a local convalescent home last night after a brief illness. Born in Wynne Parish, La., May 6, 1865, she had lived in this community for 21 years. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving her are: six daughters, Mrs. H.J. Lindley of Ladonia, Texas, Mrs. W.W. Booth of Paris, Texas, Mrs. J.N. Jones, Miss Molly Pennington, and Mrs. E.A. Hobbs of Winslow, and Mrs. H.S. Alderman of San Diego, Calif., six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. at the Brentwood church by the Rev. Glenn Steele. Burial, under the direction of Moore's Chapel, will be in Brentwood cemetery.
