Carolyn Sue Piker, age 63 of McRae, died Friday, July 4, 2014 in Searcy. She was born March 16, 1951 in Davenport, Iowa to Burdette Staats and Patricia May McKillip Staats.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren, creating crafts, camping, and thrift shopping.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Doyle Wayne Piker of McRae; one daughter, Jaimee Piker of Ward; one son, Daniel Zentz of Searcy; one step-son, Christopher Piker and wife Carol of Iowa City, Iowa; one step-daughter, Melissa Piker of Iowa City, Iowa; nine grandchildren, Chase Abraham, Lil John Burton, Kambria Zentz, Amber Zentz, Carlie Zentz, Rosy Clark, Cecilia Clark, Zach Piker, Zoe Piker; mother, Patricia Staats; two brothers, George Staats, Tracy Staats; and two sisters, Brenda Staats and Cheryl Swanson.
She is preceded in death by her father, Burdette Staats.
Carolyn was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
