William Hite, 77, of Searcy passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014.
He was born November 21, 1937 to the late Emmitt and Effie (Garrard) Hite in Searcy, Arkansas.
He was the Senior Pastor of the Full Gospel Church. William loved to travel better known as the "Travelman." He loved his wife, grandchildren, great grandchildren and he treasured the time he spent with them. He loved his friends and was loved by all who knew him.
William is survived by his wife of 8 years, Carolyn Hite of Searcy; one daughter, Beverly Donnell (Bernie) of McRae, Arkansas; three stepsons; two sisters, Marie Morris of Kensett, and Sandra Gumm of Searcy; three grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, four step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Hite, one son, Larry Hite; one brother, Johnny Hite; and two sisters, Shirley Knox and Odean Bradley.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 27th at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 28th in the funeral home chapel with interment following at Weir Cemetery.
