Debra Gilbert Pinner was called home to her Lord on February 17, 2019. She was born on December 5th ,1958 in Welland, Ontario Canada. In August of 1977 she moved to Searcy, AR to attend Harding College; never dreaming that this decision would change the course of her life. There she met Jim Pinner whom she married on May 23, 1980. He was the love of her life and he is left behind to cherish her memory. Debbie is survived by her daughter Christina Pinner, her son Christopher (Samantha) and grandchildren Lyric, Parker, Paxtin, Kinsleigh; one stepdaughter Elizabeth (Shawn) Stevenson, step-grandchildren Alax Pruitt, Izreal Roberson and Liberty Pinner. She also is survived by her father Ross Gilbert, three brothers Gary, Bob, and Bruce Gilbert and his wife Sarah. She also leaves behind her lifelong friend Cynthia Cole. The rest of her family consists of three in-laws Evelyn (Jim) Stringer, Walter (Lea Ann) Pinner, Paula Sue Kisling, five nieces and three nephews and many great nieces and nephews. She loved her family and would never leave them or forsake them except for a call from her LORD.
She lived with cancer for five plus years, but never say she lost her battle. She lived to show God's love and glory. When her earthly body wore out God in his mercy took her home. She wanted to live long enough to forge a special bond with each of her grandchildren whom she loved so much.
The celebration of her life will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 23 at the College Church of Christ Searcy, Arkansas. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M.
