*Obituary
James "Jay" Shelton, 26, of North Little Rock, recently of Idabel, passed away Monday June 12, 2006.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, the Rev. Chester Weir and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Shelton.
He is survived by his wife, Kelli Staples Shelton; two daughters, Jayden Shelton and Claire Staples; parents, Ricky and Jane Shelton of North Little Rock; two brothers, Tim Shelton of Conway, Ark., and Eric Metz, of Killeen, Texas; and grandmother, Virginia Weir.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Free Will Baptist Church, North Little Rock. Burial will be in Weir Cemetery near Beebe.
