Billy Rayburn, age 77 went to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 22, 2010 after a long illness. He was born June 12, 1933 at Walker, Arkansas to Perry and Louise Rayburn. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. Bill enjoyed family, mechanics, bird hunting and serving the Lord for many years. He was a member of Crosby Baptist Church. He served his country in the Korean War, was a retired farmer and pipe liner. Bill dearly loved his family. Preceded in death by his parents, and granddaughter; Aspyn Keana Rayburn. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years; Jessie Smith Rayburn, four sons; Craig, Chris, Jeff, and Cody Rayburn all of Searcy. Two daughters; Melissa Neuhaus of Searcy and Jessica Van Zant of Princeton, Kansas. Fifteen grandchildren; Brandon, Fallon, Erika, Caitlan, Ethan, Josh, Justin, Trevor, Garrett, Zac, Pery, James, Johnny, Josh and Amii. Two great-grandchildren Brynntley and Colt. Two brothers; Bob and Jim Rayburn. Three sisters; Mary Ellen Weir, Janie Watkins and Janice Barnum. Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 24, 2010 at the Rayburn Family Cemetery in Searcy. Services entrusted to Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home of Searcy.
