Reba Joann Riggan, 74 of Searcy passed away Friday, February 20, 2009, at White County Medical Center. She was born February 4, 1935, in Mayflower, Arkansas to the late James and Jessie (Adams) Speights. She was a member of Searcy Faith Assembly of God. She graduated from St. Vincent's Infirmary with a diploma in nursing in 1956. Mrs. Riggan was a loving mother and grandmother, and was loved by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Travis H. Riggan.

She is survived by one son; Robert and Leslie Riggan of Searcy, two daughters; Janna K. Riggan of Searcy, and Dorinda and John Sevier, of Searcy, two brothers; Jimmy Speights of Benton, and Wendell Speights of Romance, two sisters; Lillian Hogue of Benton and Yvonne Mills of Maumelle, and three grandchildren; Alex Riggan, Sidney Riggan, and Cara Sevier.

Services will be Monday, February 23, 2009, 2:00 PM at Searcy Faith Assembly of God with Pastor Ronnie Freeman and Pastor Paul Doan officiating. Burial will follow at Searcy Faith Assembly Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 5 PM at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Searcy Faith Assembly of God Quilting Ladies.
