Shirley Chapman, 80, of Searcy passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Unity Health in Searcy. She was born January 18, 1936 to the late Nate and Maude (Rice) Shelton in Marshall, North Carolina.
Shirley loved bowling and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Kathy Shourd (Ricky) of Searcy; four brothers, Lewis, Glen, Doyle, and Rickey Shelton; two sisters, Helen Ottinger, and Phyllis Mitchell; five grandchildren, Kristian Whitsett, Sophia Shourd, Rachel Shourd, Tiffany Barrentine, and Marcus Knight; three great grandchildren, Samuel Whitsett, Solomon Whitsett, and Bralee Barrentine.
In addition to her parents Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Chapman.

Services will be held for close friends and family.
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Faith Assembly of God with Bro. Brandon Mize officiating.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 10th at Faith Assembly of God with burial following at the Faith Assembly Cemetery.
