Odie Everett, 76 of Beebe, died March 16, 2007. He was born June 1, 1930 in Sunny Slope, Arkansas, the son of John Richard and Mattie (Bittle) Everett. He was preceded in death by his parents and his great-grandson, Zachary Moore. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Searcy. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, bowling and NASCAR. He was a life member of GPPAW. He served with the Auxiliary Police in Marion, IN. He was also a member of the Bowling Association in Searcy and Marion, IN.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Everett of Beebe; two sons, Steven Everett and his wife, Tammy of Marion, Indiana and James Everett and his wife, Ann of Beebe; his daughter, Nina Harris and her husband, Reggie of Searcy; his brother, William Howard Everett and wife, Betty of Searcy; his sister, Chester Mae Troxell of Searcy; four grandchildren, Jessica Moore, Chenelle Tims, Maryann Everett and Austin Harris; and three great-grandchildren, Destiny Everett, Joshua Moore and Taiyah Tims.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, March 19, 2007 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at First Assembly of God Church in Searcy with Sister Ruth Copeland and Bro. Mark Ferren officiating. Interment will follow at Faith Assembly Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steven Everett, James Everett, Reggie Harris, Jordan Niederkorn, Randy Tims, Jr. and Randy Everett. Honorary pallbearer will be Austin Harris.
