Virginia Lucille Cobb, 91 of Searcy passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 at her residence. She was born October 30, 1921 in Rose Bud, Arkansas to the late James W. Weeks and Lula Spurlin Weeks.

Mrs. Cobb was a member of Temple Baptist Church and served as a Sunday School Teacher for many years. She was a loving Christian mother and grandmother and was loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Carthel Cobb; three brothers, Hubert, Jack and Doyle Weeks; three sisters Sudie Skinner, Tullmae Berry and Alma Crockett; and one grandson, William J. Butler.
She is survived by one son, Fred Cobb of Searcy; one daughter, Linda Butler (James) of Searcy; three grandchildren, Lisa Neeley, James D. Butler, and Brian Cobb; and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 13th at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
Graveside services are 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 14th at Searcy Faith Assembly Cemetery.
