Melissa Anne (Collins) Crain Toomer, age 54 of Searcy, died Saturday, September 10, 2016 in Searcy. She was born May 19, 1962 at Newport, Arkansas, the daughter of Lester and Carolyn Collins.
Melissa is survived by her husband Jonathan; four children, Catherine Kanthak (Josh), Ryan Toomer (Jenni), Abbey Toomer, and Jessica Dillon (Josh); two brothers, Randy and Jon Collins (Stacy); and three grandchildren, Harmony Kanthak, Kennadie Kanthak, and Kaedon Dillon. She is preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Albert Crain.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the Powell Funeral Home of Searcy. Graveside funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Searcy Faith Cemetery.
