Leon Darrell Brackenridge,64, passed away May 3, 2019. He was born in Oceola, Arkansas to the late Ocie and Ellena Brackenridge on March 23, 1955. Leon Darrell was married to his wife Sharon Brackenridge for 43 years. He loved spending time with his family and grandkids. He enjoyed a number of hobbies like trading cars, grilling (which he was great at), and watching westerns. In his early years he liked driving fast and considered himself a Burt Reynolds look alike. He got a thrill out of making others laugh. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife Sharon Brackenridge, one son; William Delaine Brackenridge (Shalae), one daughter; Larissa Stephens (Michael), 8 grandchildren; Tristion Brackenridge, Tyler Brackenridge, Kayne Brackenridge, Kaylee Brewster, Makayla Stephens, Kaitlyn Stephens, Anna Stephens, and Micah Stephens, one brother; James Brackenridge (Shirley), four sisters; Joyce Stevens (Gerald), Sylvia Hooten, Geraldine McGarrity (Charles) and Shirley Howard (Larry). In addition to his parents he is preceded by four brothers; Verlie Brackenridge, Tommy Brackenridge, Eddie Wayne Brackenridge, and LaVerl Brackenridge, three sisters; Doris Schmidt, Goldie Reed, and Juanita Rigsby. Visitation will be Monday, May 6th from 6-8 p.m. at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, May 7th at 2 p.m. at Searcy McEuen. Burial will follow at Gum Springs Cemetery.

Sharon Annette (Tippy) Brackenridge, 63, of Searcy went to be with the Lord, Sunday, December 6th at Advanced Care Hospital. She was born August 19, 1957 in St. Joe, Michigan to the late William Tippy and Mary (Tippy) Jackson.
Sharon was a Christian. She loved the Lord with all her heart. Sharon was member of Revival Church. She loved playing the piano and singing. Her playing and singing was always genuine. She was caring, loving and kind. She enjoyed sewing and crafting. Sharon cherished her children and grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; one son, Delaine Brackenridge of Searcy; one daughter, Larissa Stephens and husband, Michael of Leasburg, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Tristan, Tyler, and Kayne Brackenridge, Kaylee Brewster, and Makayla, Kaitlyn, Anna, and Micah Stephens; one brother, Michael Tippy and wife, Kristi of Providence; and one sister, Rhonda Tippy of Higginson.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death her husband of 43 years, Leon Darrell Brackenridge.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 9th at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 10th Revival Church of Searcy with Pastor Danny Whitley officiating. Burial will follow at Faith Cemetery.
All funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
