*Robbie Blagg, 37, was found outside Judsonia off Arkansas 258 by a nearby resident who called authorities about 10:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Cpl. Steve Hernandez of the White County sheriff’s office said.

Police later found Blagg’s car on fire about 20 miles away in the Higginson area, Hernandez said.

The resident reported seeing a car drive off and thought it might have been the victim’s, the corporal said. Authorities believe Blagg’s car was stolen but do not know if theft was the killer’s motive, Hernandez added.

Blagg was pronounced dead at a Searcy hospital.

“Honestly, we don’t have a motive right now,” Hernandez said. “Any lead we get at this time, we’re following.”
