Una Vaughan, age 95 of Pangburn, died Tuesday, December 11, 2007 in Searcy.
She was born Thursday, May 30, 1912, at Davenport, Arkansas to Robert Combs and Rosie (Foust) Combs. She was a member of the McJester Quilting Club, Secretary of the Olive Branch Cemetery for 40 years, and of the Baptist faith. She was a loving wife and mother and will be missed by all that loved her.
She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Jess Vaughan of Pangburn; one son, Elmer Combs and wife Jean of Lynn Haven, Florida; three daughters, Dean Sarringar of Pangburn, Jewel Henry of Pangburn, Nancy Pate and husband Roger of Pangburn; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Rosie Combs; one brother, Doffus Combs; one sister, Macie Morris; and one son-in-law, Eldon Henry.
Funeral services are Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at McJester Baptist Church with interment to follow at Olive Branch Cemetery.

Jess E. Vaughan, age 100 of Pangburn, died Saturday, December 5, 2009 in Pangburn, Arkansas. He was born Sunday, April 4, 1909, at Floral, Arkansas to the late Ben and Mattie Garroute Vaughan. He was a loving husband and father and will be missed by all that knew him.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 74 years, Una Vaughan, 2 sisters, Myrtle White and Essie Pulley, one brother, Elsie Vaughan, one son-in-law, Eldon Henry.
He is survived by one son, Elmer Combs and wife Jean of Lynn Haven, Florida; three daughters, Dean Sarringar of Pangburn, Jewel Henry of Pangburn, Nancy Pate and husband Roger of Pangburn; one sister, Retha Crisler and her husband Atkins of Sardis, Arkansas, 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at Mc. Jester Baptist Church with interment following at Olive Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 8:00 pm Monday, December 7, 2009 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy.
