Naomi Simmons, 80, passed from this life June 2, 2018. She was born on January 24, 1938, in Tyler, Arkansas to the late Norris and Fannie Massey.
Naomi is survived by two sons; Thomas Andrew Simmons and James Arnold Simmons (Rachel), three daughters; Roberta Lynn Simmons, Viola Simmons Scott (Nick), and Rachel Marie Simmons Romine (Mark), one brother; Monroe Lafate Massey, seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Naomi enjoyed crocheting and a good word search. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church. Naomi was also a long time employee of Leisure Lodge, now Searcy Health and Rehab where she was also crowned queen. Naomi will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents Naomi is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years; Albert Simmons Jr., one brother; James Roland Massey, and one sister; Pearly Ann Chambers (Nathan).
