of Pangburn, AR
January 15, 1933 - October 19, 2010
Nora Elizabeth Barnett Hensley, 77, of Pangburn, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2010. She was born Sunday, January 15, 1933, at Manila, Arkansas, to the late Earl and Mae Barnett. She was of the Pentecostal Faith and in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Carol Hensley Troop, one brother, Ray Barnett, and one sister Saphonia Harmon.
Mrs. Hensley leaves behind her husband, Shelby Lineous Hensley; five daughters, Kathryn Perry (Glenn) of Pangburn, Ramona Watson of Pangburn, Donna Nelson (Dennis) of Kensett, Dorothy Lipscomb (Jim) of Reno, Texas, Alice Kennedy (Mitch) of Batesville, Arkansas; two sons, Ben Hensley (Deb) of Pangburn and Adrian Hensley of Pangburn; three brothers, David Barnett of Beebe, Jerrold Barnett and Charles Barnett, both of Jacksonville; three sisters, Dovie Gagan of North Little Rock, Wanda Gossett of Minnesota, and Martha Ellis of Batesville, Arkansas; son-in-law, Mike Troop of Searcy; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, October 21, 2010, at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 22, 2010, at the Olive Branch Community Church.

Shelby "Lineous" Hensley, 93, of Hickory Flat, passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at 3:07 P.M., surrounded by family. Lineous was born November 13, 1927, to Frank and Lizzie Hensley of Hickory Flat, the seventh of eight children. He attended school at Hickory Flat and Pleasant Plains before graduating from Pangburn High School in 1945. He was a farmer who raised numerous types of produce for market. He also raised livestock and operated a country grocery store for many years. Lineous is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nora (Barnett) Hensley, who passed in 2010 after 60 years of marriage. He is also preceded in death by: his parents and seven siblings; a daughter, Carol Troop of Letona; two grandchildren, Brittany Hensley of Hickory Flat and Kyle Lipscomb of Reno, Texas; one great-grandchild, Faith Smallwood of Powderly, Texas; and two sons- in-law, Gary Watson of Hickory Flat and James Lipscomb of Reno, Texas. Lineous is survived by seven children: Kathryn Perry (Glenn) of Hickory Flat; Ramona Watson of Hickory Flat; Donna Nelson (Dennis) of Kensett; Dorothy Lipscomb of Reno, Texas; Alice Kennedy (Mitch) of Batesville; Ben Hensley (Debbie) of Hickory Flat; and Adrian Hensley (Sandy) of Pangburn. He is also survived by: one son-in-law, Michael Troop of Conway, 14 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Lineous' life will be held Thursday, June 17, at 10:00 A.M. at the Olive Branch Cemetery in Hickory Flat.
