November 3, 1939 - November 24, 2021
Sabra Ann Woodson Jackson 82, of Hoxie passed away November 24, 2021, at her residence.
Born November 3, 1939, in Black Rock; daughter of the late Jessie Woodson. She was a switch board operator for the local telephone company and of the Church of Christ belief. Once married she moved to Louisiana where she raised her children and she retired back home in Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Leslie and Jessie Carrol; a brother, Glenn Jasper Carrol.
Survivors include her two sons, Thomas and Glenn Verkler of Lake Charles, LA; four grandsons, Thomas, Glenn, Dustin and Tyler; one granddaughter; numerous great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held November 27, 2021, at 2 P.M. in the Oak Forrest Cemetery with Rick Mayland officiating. Pallbearers were her grandsons.
