Francis Ronald Wagner of Clarksville, Arkansas was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 7, 1938 to Ambrose and Margerite Wagner. He passed away on March 25, 2020 in Clarksville, Arkansas at the age of 81. He was a Navy Veteran, a member of East Mt. Zion Baptist Church, a home builder and and truck driver.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Laura (Turner) Wagner of the home; his sons, Greg Whitson and his wife, Rhonda of Browns Summit, North Carolina; Jeff Whitson and wife, Loretta of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Chris Wagner of Clarksville, Arkansas; Todd Wagner of Alaska; his brother, Robert "Bob" Wagner; his sister, Mary Lou Wagner; his grandchildren, Josh Whitson (Houston) of North Carolina; Ashley Whitson of North Carolina; Jordan Whitson of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Derek Wagner of Bauxite, Arkansas; and Darren Wagner of Bauxite, Arkansas.

Open viewing will be during business hours at Hardwicke Funeral Home in Clarksville, Arkansas.

A private family service will be held Monday, March 30, 2020 at the Stillwell Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas with Reverend Robbie Jackson officiating. Pallbearers are William Bean, Bill Reno, Clinton Holland, Bill Hill, Brian McCarley, and Lonnie Holland. Honorary Pallbearers are Josh Whitson, Jordan Whitson, Derek Wagner, and Darren Wagner.
